A garden favorite for over 40 years! Blue Lake Bush Beans produce heavy yields of flavorful, dark-green pods that are tender and crisp. Developed in 1961 from the Pole Blue Lake. (60 days)

Planting Instructions:
Sow beans 1 to 2 inches deep when danger of frost is past. Soaking seeds 1 to 2 hours before planting will speed germination. Beans will rot if soil is too cold or very damp. Sow bush-types 6 to 12 inches apart in beds, pole-types 6 inches apart in rows. Provide support for poll-types.

Harvest for snaps when pods are good sized; keep snaps well picked, as production slows as seed matures. All varieties of strings will develop in over-mature pods.

Heirloom Seeds are Shipped FREE!
